PTAT Voltage Generator based on an MOS Voltage Divider
An MOS-only, proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) voltage generator capable of operation in the whole range of inversion levels is presented. We perform a theoretical analysis based on the ACM model which is successfully compared to experimental data. PTAT voltages up to hundreds of milivolts at room temperature can be easily obtained.
متن کاملImproving Voltage Stability Margin Using Voltage Profile and Sensitivity Analysis by Neural Network
This paper presents a new approach for estimating and improving voltage stability margin from phase and magnitude profile of bus voltages using sensitivity analysis of Voltage Stability Assessment Neural Network (VSANN). Bus voltage profile contains useful information about system stability margin including the effect of load-generation, line outage and reactive power compensation so, it is ad...
متن کاملVoltage Collapse Prediction and Voltage Stability Enhancement by Using Static Var Compensator
Voltage instability is gaining importance because of unusual growth in power system. Reactive power limit of power system is one of the reasons for voltage instability. Preventing Voltage Collapsesare one of the challenging tasks present worldwide. This paper presents static methods like Modal Analysis, Two Bus Thevenin Equivalent and Continuation Power Flow methods to predict the voltage collap...
متن کاملSoftware Tool for Voltage Dip Signal Generator
This paper presents a software tool for a three-phase voltage dip signal generator, which can be used to generate waveforms similar to those recorded. The voltage dip signal generator is designed to shape the voltage waveforms for the three phases, using random functions for almost all possible parameters. The advantage of using the generated waveforms instead of real data measurements is that ...
متن کاملLoss of Excitation Detection in Doubly Fed Induction Generator by Voltage and Reactive Power Rate
The doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) is one of the most popular technologies used in wind power systems. With the growing use of DFIGs and increasing power system dependence on them in recent years, protecting of these generators against internal faults is more considered. Loss of excitation (LOE) event is among the most frequent failures in electric generators. However, LOE detection stud...
